The experience was incredible - from our initial boat shuttle to the island with our boat captain, the wonderful bartenders/servers, the overnight staff, the masseuse... etc. I can't say enough positive things about all who work there. Email ahead and book massages! I saw a review on noise from another person and it does seem like the people who are there with you really make a difference. There was one night with a really noisy guest, but there's nothing the hotel can do about that. There is a $15 upcharge per day for a/c, but it's worth...

“Our family loved this hotel for its colonial charm, walkability to the center of town and to various restaurants and coffee shops. There is a great restaurant that is associated with the hotel that also served a great breakfast. The pool was refreshing. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending activities. Great laundry service. The room was a nice respite from the heat and with good air conditioning. If you want to see the lively local market, there are a number of vendors only...
